Hiiiii, Steph here.  I'm an extroverted introvert.  Which basically means I'm a big people person... until I have to go recharge in my bat cave.  I love genuine connection, soulful conversations about kismet situations, and hearing about how many times you've seen 11:11 this week.  

I'm your hype girl, your cheerleader, and your kids' second momma during our sessions. haha. My favorite type of art is documentary.  I love the real moments, caught in frames.  

So how did I get here?  I worked as a fashion retail store manager for yeeeears and earned my Human Resources degree while working full time, hoping I'd be able to land a 9-5/no weekends/holidays off kinda career.  Yep, that was the dream.

My life was turned upside-down (like many others) during COVID-era.  The company I worked for announced a major restructure, and the store I managed would be closing.  It was one of those moments where everything had to fall apart for better things to come together.  

I've always been interested in photography, and even mentioned becoming a photographer in past journal entries.  I knew the store closing would be my one opportunity to go all in, burn the bridges, and make a career switch!  And not just a career switch, I found myself opening up my own small business.  How RAD is that?!

Now- aside from being a cold brew coffee-obsessed, sunset-chasing family + couples photographer… who am I? I'm a mom and wife, based out of a tiny town near Destin, Fl! I’ve been married to my husband Nick for over seven years now. We have a daughter and two pretty rad boys. Mariah Lynn is 17. And our son's Nick Jr and Phoenix are 7 and 3 respectively.

So here I am! Getting to capture treasured moments for families, badass empowerment shots for my girlies, and fun branding sessions.  This is quite possibly one of the most rewarding jobs ever! And here’s a virtual hug for you just for stopping by, because I’m a hugger.
